However, if you’ve got plans to take an RV trip this spring, you can easily get your model back in tip-top shape in time for your upcoming vacation. Exterior Care

While caring for your RV’s exterior isn’t too difficult, it is typically a very time-consuming task, and we recommend spacing out these important maintenance chores over the span of a few days if necessary. To begin, you’ll need to scrub, wax, and polish your RV from top to bottom. Follow up by patching any holes or cracks that may have appeared during your RV’s stay in winter storage, then move on to inspecting the tires—making sure to double-check the air pressure and examine them for any damages.

Interior Care

With your exterior taken care of it’s time to tackle your RVs more complicated interior maintenance tasks. To begin, we recommend opening all the windows, cabinets, and doors on your RV to get fresh air circulating throughout your rig. Next, flush and replace your water tank, gas tank, and any engine fluids that are looking dirty or contain floating debris. You’ll also want to run your pump for a few minutes to ensure there’s no leftover antifreeze sitting in your water tank, before finishing up by giving your model a quick oil change.
